I bought this book for my daughter who lives in CA, but was raised in MN. She absolutely LOVES it! I saw the author on WCCO TV talking about the book & thought it sounded interesting. This might turn out to be Christmas presents for other family members who moved from Minnesota and I'm gonna have to get one for myself!
Purchased as a gift for someone who has everything....heard raving reviews from the recipient! I actually listened to the author of this book on the radio... the research and incredibly interesting unknown facts are unmatched! Not your standard material here....definitely a one of a kind book! Gorgeous photos also. Highly recommend!

Got this as a gift and immediately bought two more to give as gifts! This is a fantastic book and if you are wondering if you should move to Minnesota, or stay in Minnesota, you'll want to after you read this book. Of course most of us that live here don't need to read the book to want to stay.
I love this book! As a native Minnesotan, I learned a lot of fun facts about our state. I was very disappointed that the book arrived damaged on the corners and had glue from the envelope stuck on the cover. It’s not a gift, so I’ll just keep it, but the shipper does have to improve the packaging. UPS is very rough on stuff.
