Furthermore, Gracie suffered the amputation of both legs, as well as enduring dozens of additional procedures. I've heard all this before. If this book enlightened you, then you've been under a rock too long. Or, maybe you are just very young. And some wisdom I've gained in my two caregiving adventures isn't even in there.On the plus side, it's a concise reminder to remember to take care of yourself if you are also a caregiver. Could be a thoughtful gift for someone who is suddenly in that role for the first time. But for me, it was a waste of a few bucks and an hour or so of my day. (A fast read!)
